But apparently Matt did
I tried to feel good about the path he chose
And then he dragged in his kid

I hate see them all indoctrinated so young

I’m all for nostalgia but this bird won’t hunt
The genie’s out of the lamp
We’re much more the same than they wanna know

I need to think we can still grab the wheel
If we feel ourselves sinking fast

But I guess control ain’t everyone’s game
Some love to be walked around
I figure there must be a comfort there
